They are repairing a 15m FD antenna. And, AF6C wants to know where HHC got that GOOD
German beer! IXN has been having dizzy spells
lately, so its off to the doctor tomorrow! All
went well fer Corey on Halloween and he had a great time

He was running the
sweeper! OML had to remove old battery left on
charge last week and install a new one at Braille today.
YHX ahd a battery go dead on his Halloween costume. And HHC warns OPs abt
the CRYTOLOCK windows virus!...You do not want this one!!!
HHC, GMU, AF6CF, and AF6C are trying to find a 6 ft. section of 7/16
aluminum tubing to repair the OCARC 15m beam from FD wear-and-tear. Then AF6C was back to vacuuming the floor! OML said that June was cleaning out old school work
and books, etc. that is no longer useful
IXN needs to do that, too!

contest...Congratulations to all Club OPs, and other OPs who helped us in the Contest! Ken also said that Arnie, N6HC, was on another
DSpedition (TS 32C?). JTT (coughing) and son
have been working on the rental up in the Idyllwild area.
ATB and HHC briefly discussedDATV equipment and Greg got a new tower up. HHC also said the OCCARC was #1 in CA, and, #1 in
our class fer Field Day! Wid AF6C involved wid

HHC, and Bobs sister all had a nice visit over last weekend. The Board met last Friday and plans were finalized
for the upcoming Club Christmas Dinner to be held at Jaegerhaus once again, and, IXN got a
whooping cough shot.

HHC repeated Field Day results for the OCARC once again, and questioned ATB about his Mosely Beam Ant. Ken also invited all
to the Club Christmas Dinner and Party where over $1500 dollars in prizes will be

& son have been working on the rental up near Idyllwild
They heard a mysterious
noise coming from the bathroom and discovered a live 120V wire near a grounded bath tub
rail!...NO ONE ELECTROCUTED THIS TIME! ATB
asked about Comet ISON which should be around -5 mag in the night skies in late
November
When the comet fades to +6 mag., it will no longer be visible to the naked
eye

mostly batteries needing recharging. David Corsiglia, WA6TWF, flew in and flew

Pass wid 5/9 sigs, and YHX will continue work on the seismograph. Gary, KJ6UAN, in Fountain Valley also checked into
Net wid FB sigs.

W6ZE/AF6C checked in WØMEC, KJ6OML, KE6YHX, WB6IXN, W6HHC, and W6ATB. AF6C checked in wid a nasty cold and didnt go
to Braille Institute today to spare OML & DLA from his cold germs! IXN cudnt hear MEC tonite, but AF6C & MEC
talked abt old WWII memories of flights over Kwajalein, Midway, etc. OML, wid a warbling sig at IXNs QTH, had a
gud day at Braille Institute, servicing 6 machines. YHX,
HHC, and AF6C talked abt Cup O Noodles and their storage and preparation. And IXN said some scientists think that all
information that falls into a black hole ends up stored as a hologram on the Event Horizon
of the black hole! YHX, busy wid other things,
missed the excellent presentation by Doug Britton on earthquakes at Club meeting last
Friday. HHC, AF6C, and ATB had a go-around on
the shifting of the earths magnetic poles.

once a year, and YHX and AF6C ended comments on Cup O Noodles. On 10m, HHC said crushing them to take up less
space in a back pack was one of the best ways to transport them when camping. Most OPs must have been out shopping!

around and comes back!...And Bob enjoyed the 2m openings this last week! IXN cudnt hear MEC at the QTH, but NC heard
him well. ATB, on the EICOM tonite, says the
bird is ready fer TG, and, they have been invited out tomorrow also. N6HC, just back from a DXpedition, is preparing for
another one to Amsterdam Island, but Arnie is enjoying his time home right now. IXN finds the Hierarchy Problem in particle physics
extremely interesting, and YHX is beginning his Christmas shopping. JTT, down in the QRN tonite, checked in but his
sigs were lost. The smells of apple pie,
pumpkin pie, etc., fill the Konechy QTH as Diane cooks up a storm for TG
tomorrow, and Ken reminds OPs to RSVP for the Club Christmas Party come Dec. 13.
