The
major topic was the Easter Day earthquake. No one reported damage, though Ken's daughter's
pool was really sloshing during and for quite a while after the quake. Participants
reported that the swaying lasted 20 to 50 seconds. AF6C's "Tremor-Skimmer"
widget announced a quake of magnitude 3.2 under Baja, MX (which is usually about 15 - 20
minutes after the event) when the shaking started in earnest at his QTH! San Sevaine
didn't quiet down for quite a while with all the aftershocks.
Talk
turned to Easter Dinner and other topics. Bob AF6C cooked a leg of Lamb. Corey is on
holiday from the classes he was taking. Ken HHC went to his daughter's where the family
gathered this year. Nicholas is getting ready for the Baker to Vegas race in just over a
week. Ken YCJ is looking forward to the opening of the baseball season and the Angels (and
White Sox) having a good year.
Thank you Bob-AF6C
